Welcome to the Ink It! Stamp It! Design Team Blog Hop - we hop every month so be sure to pop back and visit us again!
Today we are providing sneak peeks from the new Holiday Catalogue!
You are currently at my page - Stephanie Fischer, The Crafty Thinker. At the end of my post there is a full line up of team members, please click on the name after mine in the list to continue the hop.
I have chosen to use one of the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks (page 35 - 150697). There are four patterns in the collection and all of them are very versatile so they can be used all year around for any type of card.
Here I've used two of the patterns, in each case sponging over the mask with some of the new Delicata Metallic Ink (Page 16) which is available in gold, silver or copper and refills are also available. I've used the Silvery Shimmer (150709).
In the first card (above), I've kept it very simple and made an all-purpose card (I'm thinking birthday, get well or sympathy).
I stamped the image from Beautiful Day with the Silvery Shimmer ink onto Basic Gray cardstock and added some shading with the Basic Black Stampin' Blends Combo alcohol markers before hand cutting.
I gave the otherwise monochromatic card a pop of colour with a little piece of Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon.
After I'd cut them out, I added some of the new Ice Stampin' Crystals to the silver boughs for that extra icy touch of bling. Using a Fine-Tip Glue Pen makes it easy to add the glue to small pieces of foliage.

A Christmas Card made with the Basic Pattern Masks and Peaceful Boughs Bundle Products featured in the 2019 Stampin' Up Holiday Catalogue |
Then I made a Christmas card with another of the masks and the Peaceful Boughs Bundle (page 15 - 153033).
Using the same Silvery Shimmer ink, I sponged through the mask onto Basic Black cardstock.
TIP: The Delicata Metallic Ink is a pigment ink so it dries quite slowly. To avoid the chance of smudging, allow plenty of time for it dry or if you're impatient (like me!) you may want to give it a quick burst with your heat tool.

The sentiment is one of two included in the Peaceful Boughs stamp set and the frame (which I cut from Real Red cardstock) is one of two frames included in the coordinating Beautiful Boughs Dies.
