I used a piece of Braided Linen Trim behind the label having first dragged my black ink pad over it.

A masculine card using the Masking Technique to create a little scene with the Enjoy Life and Winter Woods stamp sets |
I first stamped the cyclist with black ink, masked that image and then stamped the trees with Basic Gray ink. Having removed the mask, I stamped the grass - also with Basic Gray ink.
The mask I created for this masculine card using the Enjoy Life stamp set |
TIPS:
- To get the intensity of black that I wanted, I stamped several times using my Stamparatus to ensure precision.
- I stamped two rows of trees, the second slightly above and to one side of the first.
- I darkened the foreground a little by gently sponging black ink along the bottom of the stamped card.
