Beautiful Shimmery Bauble

While not necessarily Christmas-y, red and black are a dramatic combination that I love - add a little shimmer and it's irresistible!

A black & red Christmas card with loads of Champagne Shimmer - not traditional but eye-catching & dramatic!

I think this incredibly simple card packs a lot of punch.  The base card is Real Red to which I've added (experimental) strips of Basic Black that have been dripped and spritzed with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with some rubbing alcohol.

The greeting from the Beautiful Baubles Bundle is silver heat embossed and then cut with one of the Layering Ovals framelits.  This has been placed on top of a scalloped oval cut from the Champagne Foil Sheet.

The Beautiful Baubles Bundle comprises the Beautiful Baubles stamp set and Detailed Baubles dies with a saving of 10%.

The bauble from the Beautiful Baubles Bundle is also cut from Champagne Foil Sheet (with Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back for easy fixing) and adhered to a small scrap of Basic Black cardstock.  I then cut around the outside with my snips.

I made a bow with the Black Cord and added it to the top of the bauble.

There's a lot of champagne in this card - that's seasonal isn't it?!
