Happy Birthday Thinlits on Watercolour Background

What could be easier? .... A watercolour background and a couple of die cuts!
#thecraftythinker #stampinup #cardmaking #easycard , easy card, watercolour background, Happy Birthday thinlits, Stampin' Up Australia Demonstrator, Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
An eye-catching card made with a watercolour background and Happy Birthday Thinlits

For the watercolour background, I saturated the watercolour paper and then dropped ink onto it directly from the bottle.  The colours I used were Grapefruit Grove, Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape.
The colour palette is: Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape and Grapefruit Grove
The base card is made from a 6.25" x 8" piece of Grapefruit Grove cardstock folded in half at 4".  The layers are Gorgeous Grape and Coastal Cabana.

I cut both Grapefruit Grove and Gorgeous Grape cardstock with the Happy Birthday Thinlits and layered them onto the card front, off-setting them slightly.
TIP:  Placing Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back of the cardstock before die cutting, makes it easy to stick the die cuts in position.

Thank you for visiting.
'Til next time!
Stephanie
