I did end up adding several layers of pigment in some areas - which requires a little patience.

Another trick is to avoid smudging - especially as this is a very slow-drying ink!

I don't mind that little bit of effort though because it only remains to add a layer of Silver Foil sheet and the card is complete!

A very similar effect can be achieved with a Whisper White Watercolour Pencil and aqua painter, however, I'm much more comfortable with a brush in my hand.
