Another day .... another distraction! That's how it seems to be going for me at the moment - and this is why .....
A distracting game of hide n' seek in my light box! |
Game over, this cute little boy decided to pose |
They're 8 months old now. I heard a noise behind me and found them playing hide & seek in my light box - they obviously feel photogenic! They're cute and funny, full of energy and curiosity, somewhat naughty but cuddly and affectionate - great companions and incredible time wasters! I don't seem to get much done these days!
It's a great card for using up bits and pieces.
The image is gold heat embossed on Very Vanilla cardstock. I sponged the edges of the bauble with some Gray Granite ink and then punched it out with the coordinating punch.
I used Gray Granite ink to stamp the holly image onto a bit of Very Vanilla Cardstock and then coloured with Pretty Peacock and Gray Granite Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I darkened the markings on the leaves with a Stampin' Write Marker.
I tied a doubled piece of the gold thread from the Forever Greenery trim combo to the top of the bauble (I made a hole with my Take Your Pick tool) and then attached the holly. I attached this with dimensionals to a Very Vanilla Stitched Shape (it was leftover from a previous project) which in turn had been attached to a square of Pretty Peacock cardstock.
The base card is Pretty Peacock and I added a Very Vanilla layer that had been embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder.
Thank you for visiting.
'Til next time!
Stephanie (and my four legged companions!)
Oh My Stephanie! You've got your hands and your heart full! They can be such comforting, entertaining, adorable companions and then they can be a pain in the ...well, light box! :) What a gorgeous cat! Maybe you could take up a side job doing Feline Photography!!
ReplyDeleteYour card is stunning! Love the elegance factor! Be blessed in this day and know you are thought of often, Friend!
Yes, they are adorable little (but growing) time-wasters! As I write this reply, the black one is snuggling on my lap giving me lots of love! The brown one has always been a poser - it's hysterical. As soon as he sees a camera or smart phone trained on him, he strikes a pose! You are also thought of often and fondly. x
