I think this image from the Beautifully Braided Bundle is going to be very versatile!
As soon as I saw the Beautifully Braided Bundle in the Mini Catalogue, I had a plan for it!  I started with a watercolour background.  Once it was dry I stamped the flowers with Stazon black ink and then watercoloured them with Cherry Cobbler ink.

TIP:  Since watercolour paper is absorbant, I find it best to use my Stamparatus for stamping so that I can ensure that I get the ink coverage I desire.

I then stamped the edge with Cherry Cobbler ink - again using the Stamparatus.

I punched out the braiding and then put it into the Stamparatus to add the Cherry Cobbler stamping.  Having lined it up at the top and stamped, all I had to do was move the plate down by two hinges and it lined up perfectly for the next section!

I then wrapped some Lovely Lipstick ribbon through the braiding.

I stamped the greeting (from Itty Bitty Greetings) with Cherry Cobbler ink onto an offcut of the background and cut it out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies - I trimmed off the top and bottom points with my snips for a slightly less pointy, more curvacious look.

A little Japanese style scene created with the Power Of Hope stamp set FREE during Sale-A-Bration
The stamp set, together with the coordinating dies, form a bundle that's free with a product purchase of $180
This little Japanese scene was created with the Power of Hope stamp set that forms part of a bundle with coordinating dies and which I received FREE when I purchased $180 worth of products .... which was sooo easy to do, given that the new Mini Catalogue is amazing!

I stamped the three images with Stazon ink (I used black but I could have used the new brown one!) and then watercoloured with a variety of inks: the main ones being Poppy Parade and Pretty Peacock.

I stamped the Itty Bitty greeting with Pretty Peacock ink and cut it out with one of the Stitched Rectangle dies - trimming it to size to fit into the Poppy Parade rectangle cut with one of the new Stitched So Sweetly dies.

If you live in Australia and would like more information about the new catalogues or how to obtain free products during Sale-A-Bration, please contact me.
