A Christmas table favor featuring a flower made from Christmas Gleaming baubles |
We have two Christmas celebrations in my family .... well you can never have too much Christmas can you?! So this is how I'm decorating the table for the second (smaller) celebration.
It's quite easy to make and I made four of them very quickly using a conveyor belt approach. I've included a tutorial below - just scroll down. I used the Thick Very Vanilla cardstock to provide more support.

- Cut to: 8 1/4" Score at: 1/2"; 2 1/2"; 3"; 5"
- Cut or punch a circle in the section after the first score line
- Attach a piece of ribbon (if desired) onto the inner 1/2" section (between 2 1/2" & 3")
- Place adhesive onto the 1/2" flap and adhere it in place against the largest section
Decoration:
- Wipe Gold Foil Sheet with an embossing buddy.
- Use Versamark to stamp 5 of each of the two bauble images in the Christmas Gleaming stamp set
- Sprinkle with white or Shimmer White embossing powder and heat set.
- Cut out the bauble shapes with the coordinating Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack
- Use a bone folder to gently curve the baubles and use fingers to bend forward the top of the bauble.
- Punch or cut a circle - about 1 1/2" (it won't show so you can use any spare piece of cardstock)
- Place adhesive on the back of the tops of the 5 larger baubles and attach to the circle
- Repeat the process with the smaller baubles, offsetting them between the "petals" of the first layer
- Cut the centrepiece from Silver Glimmer Paper using the Perennial Flowers Punch. Bend up the petals and adhere to the centre of the flower.
- Adhere a Gold Faceted Gem to the centre of the flower.
- Cut a snowflake from Silver Glimmer Paper using a die from the Seasonal Layers set and adhere to the centre of the base.
