I had to angle the card to catch the light on the copper Serene Garden Bundle with Eclectic Layers |
I used the new Serene Garden Bundle which will be available very soon (1 June) in the 2018 to 2019 Annual Catalogue. One of the pieces in the Garden Scene die set creates a beautiful debossed image and I sponged over the top to highlight it.
I hand drew the stem with a Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write marker.
Gray Granite provides a pretty neutral in this berry colour palette |
To soften the severity of the layout, I used the trellis die from the Eclectic Layers Thinlits to cut a failed experiment! I've been playing with Copper Foil, inks and embossing powder to try to achieve an engraved, patinated copper look ... that's still a work in progress!
My rejected attempt at achieving the look of engraved, patinated copper |
This image shows the different in look between my "patinated" experiment and normal Copper Foil Sheet |
This project provides sneak peeks of the following new products:
Serene Garden Stamp set
Garden Scene Thinlits
Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set
Faceted Dots
The colours: Blackberry Bliss (returning), Coastal Cabana (returning), Gray Granite
The inside of the card is decorated with the matching images from the Serene Garden stamp set |
'Til next time!

Oh, this is a beautiful card, Stephanie. I love the trellis and how you used a few of the negatives on the card. So pretty! Enjoy your day!
