This is a view from our balcony and to the left, the large, low building with the roundish roof is the Convention Centre where we attended On Stage.
There's always a surprise in the bag (sorry, I forgot to take a photo of that!) and this time we all received a special pin to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Stampin' Up! The Crazy Crafter leader, Kylie Bertucci, could not attend this year but made sure that we all received special Crazy Crafter lanyards -she's so thoughtful and generous!
Most of the Crazy Crafters team attended the Melbourne On Stage Local but this is the team that was at the Gold Coast - small but fun! It's always wonderful to actually meet up with people who play such an important part in our day to day stampin' lives!
Stampin' Up! also gave us all a gorgeous mug, an awesome planner and some pens.
One of the many exciting opportunities at a Stampin' Up! event is the opportunity to meet and swap projects with other demonstrators. I didn't have time to make very many swaps this year see here for what I made to swap) but this is what I received in return.
The weather was very kind to us and it was a pleasure to just look at the view from our room!
But we did spend some time exploring the beautiful coastline - only a few minutes from our hotel!
The beach was very popular (this is Miami beach in Queensland!) with competitions for little nippers (surf lifesaving for the kids). That's Surfers Paradise at the other end of the beach.
Then there was this little guy! I love lizards and this little Bearded Dragon was great fun - running around in the grass catching and eating flies!
I'm so happy I managed to catch him with his yellow tongue extended to catch the fly!
In the weeks to come, I'll start providing some sneak peeks of new products in the Occasions and Sale-A-Brations brochures .... and there's so much to drool over!
Meanwhile, coming up soon is the opportunity to reserve one of the first Stamparatus tools! I nearly fell off my chair when this product was demonstrated - it's AWESOME and like none of the other stamping tools on the market. I can't wait to try the Hinge-Step technique! If you've not yet seen the Stamparatus - check out this video and then (if you live in Australia and don't have a regular Demonstrator) sign up for an account here from 8am on Friday 17 November to reserve one for yourself.
Thanks for visiting.
'Til next time!
Stephanie
