Falling Flowers Flourish

This card is entered into the Crazy Crafters Project Highlights.  Click here to see the other cards and vote for your favourites.

Whenever I undertake a more messy technique, I make the mess more palatable (self-confessed neat freak when it comes to my craft room!) by making more than one card.  I made this card at the same time that I made this sympathy card.
#cardmaking, #stampinup, #watercolourbackgrounds, Falling Flowers, Watercolour background, #thecraftythinker, Stampin' Up Australia Demonstrator, Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
The watercolour background sets off the gorgeous flourish from the Falling Flowers stamp set

The layers are Cajun Craze, Basic Black and Crumb Cake.

I followed the same steps that I used for this card: Stamping in Basic Black ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock, Dapper Denim and Crumb Cake Watercolour background, Stamping the still damp card with images from the Timeless Textures set, painting the image with Crumb Cake, Dapper Denim and Cajun Craze inks.

I was really pleased with the finished result - it's simple but elegant, multipurpose and I think could be masculine or feminine.

Thank you for visiting.
'Til next time!
Stephanie

  2. Wow, Stephanie I love your card. They way you have stamped the images it gives the impression of it is lifting off the card.
Your colours are beautiful I adore the Matt look of the layers and then with the art having only a tiny layer behind it really draws your eye to your art work. Which is truly amazing. Love it 😊
