Sunburst Thinlit Die with Pink flowers

#SU, Botanical Builder Thinlit, #handmade card, #teenage girl
Appealingly simple!

I had allowed myself to be a bit intimidated by this Sunburst Thinlit Die so the other day I made myself use it on every card I made!  As it turns out, I made quite a few cards because they come together very quickly with this die!

I cut Basic Gray and Basic Black cardstock with the die, offset them a little and layered this over a layer I had cut from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack.  Then I trimmed around the edges and layered it onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock before adhering to the front of my Rose Red card.

I cut flowers in Rose Red and Basic Black with the Botanical Builder dies and, wanting a modern, clean look, kept them very simple, not a lot of layering and no sponging or watercolouring (I had to exercise a lot of self-control!)

I had plenty of time left to stamp a couple of flowers and a greeting inside the card
A few Rhinestone Jewels completed the card in record time!  So easy!

Waste not, want not - so over the next few days, I'll show you what I did with the leftover grey and black card (the negative shapes) - so come back for another visit!

'Til next time
Stephanie
